Hindi Movie Lord I Confess announced by Producer Swaranjit Kaur Wraich
Today during the press meet at hotel Cama in Mohali, Punjab renowned film producer from Punjab Mrs. Swaranjit Kaur Wraich from Redi Productions, has announced the production of her next Hindi film. The upcoming movie by Swaranjit Kaur Wraich is titled “Lord, I Confess.” The film is based on faith and revenge, and features an experienced cast and crew. The film is scheduled to be released early next year. The script and screenplay are ready, and pre-production is complete.
Harkiran Kaur Wraich, the creative head of the film, says that the movie is being shot at several locations in India, including Jammu, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Chandigarh. Some scenes are also being filmed in foreign locations. She said they’re shooting first sequence of the film in and around Stockholm, Sweden in the very beautiful town Sigtuna and Gamla Stan. She further said that the story and dialogues were written by Parvinder Singh Wraich. It’s a drama-thriller with lots of twists, in the style of writer Parvinder Singh Writer. Parvinder Wraich will direct the film Lord I Confess.
Writer and director of the film Parvinder Singh Wraich told that in the movie, ”Lord I Confess” a dying man’s last wish is to confess before he dies. He calls a priest to his house, and then the story takes a twist. The story is full of drama and suspense.
The creative director, Harkiran, says this time they’re focusing on the colors. So we chose two seasons to add color variation and more contrast to the movie. The snowy and dark winters of Sweden, contrasted with Indian summers, will give the audience a real treat.
Producer Swaranjit Kaur Wraich said, we are very excited to be working with a renowned Swedish production house and a team of fixers and line producers for our upcoming production in Sweden. The Swedish team is comprised of two highly experienced producers who have worked on major projects for a number of international production companies.
She said that we’ll have the film ready by the end of April, and it’ll premiere on Cinemas in the middle of 2025. Additionally, the movie will be released on all major OTT platforms in India. According to the casting director, Jasbir Singh Dhillon, they have replaced the second lead actor in the film and are casting another actor from Sweden.
Harkiran Kaur Wraich, the creative director of the film, says the team has been working on the movie for a year. Shooting in a European country in winters is going to be very challenging.
Further she said that I think it would be more challenging to show 40 years of past time of any major city in India. Over the last 40 years, India has changed a lot. Many things have changed dramatically since then. There have been so many changes, both big and small, that it would be difficult to keep track of every little thing while shooting a period film. The challenge is to shoot at a real location to depict 40 years back. Many new things have been introduced, and many things have gone away. For example, television antennas are no longer on roofs. A few years ago, STD PCO was written everywhere on walls, but this has since disappeared. At that time, there were no mobile towers or mobile phones. Finding suitable locations to shoot and doing the art work involved a great deal of effort. However, this is a part of the production process.
Finally, she said I am so excited about the upcoming film, “Lord I Confess.” This project has been a labor of love for me, and I think it is going to be great. The entire team has been working hard for a long time, and we are all very excited and hopeful. We can’t wait to see our vision come to life on the big screen.
